Qfix to showcase Encompass™ 15-Channel Head Coil at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting
AVONDALE, Pa., Oct. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Qfix will showcase the Encompass™ 15-Channel Head Coil during the annual meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), to be held October 23-29, 2020
This year’s virtual conference will provide an immersive experience for Qfix’s innovative portfolio. This will include a 15-minute presentation from Dr. James Balter, of the University of Michigan Medical Center, highlighting the Encompass™ 15-Channel Head Coil, a diagnostic imaging device optimized for use with the Encompass™ MR SRS Immobilization Device. In the video, Dr. Balter shares his experience using the Encompass 15-Channel Head Coil in clinical practice.
The Encompass 15-Channel Head Coil provides diagnostic-quality images for select Siemens 3T MRI scanners. The adjustable-geometry, 15-channel coil allows the user to place the coil elements close to the patient's anatomy. It enables optimal signal-to-noise ratio across the entire cranium while accommodating the high-precision positioning unique to the Encompass SRS Immobilization System. The Encompass MR SRS Immobilization System is part of the Qfix MRimage and Treat™ line of devices, which enables patients to benefit from MR, CT, and treatment on the same device. MR images obtained with the Encompass MR SRS Immobilization System can be used for SRS treatment planning, including MR-only and MR fusion techniques.
Please visit Qfix virtually at the ASTRO 2020 meeting to see the Encompass 15-Channel Head Coil video and get the latest information about the Qfix portfolio of MR, CT, and treatment solutions.
